Unacceptable loads: how to report a problem
Received rubbish or an unacceptable mulch load? Email theteam@mulchspot.com.au with the subject “Mulch quality complaint”, or use our contact form. Include your name, delivery address, delivery date, arborist or business name, any listing/order number, and a description of the problem. Email clear photos of the whole load and close-ups of the unwanted material, plus relevant messages.
If you notice a problem before tipping, tell the driver and do not agree to an unacceptable load. If you discover it afterwards, you can still report it. Where safe, photograph the load before moving or spreading it. MulchSpot will review the information and may contact both parties for further details. Confirmed rubbish deliveries may result in account suspension or closure under the existing arborist terms. Reporting a complaint does not guarantee removal, replacement or reimbursement, and does not limit any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

- Returns Not Accepted: Due to the nature of the products (mulch and firewood), returns are not accepted.
- Lack of Control: Once the mulch or firewood has left the contractor’s truck, The MulchSpot Trust has no control over how it is handled or stored. This lack of control can affect the quality and safety of the products.
- Quality Guarantee: The MulchSpot Trust cannot guarantee that the quality of the product will meet your expectations once it has left the care of the contractor.
- Inspection Responsibility: It is the responsibility of the customer to carefully inspect the order at the time of delivery and report any issues to the delivery driver immediately, before the product is removed from the truck.
- Resolution of Issues: If The MulchSpot Trust is responsible for any issues with the order, they will attempt to work with the customer to address the problem and find a solution as best as possible however Mulchspot holds No liability or responsibility for a desired outcome
It is important for customers to be aware of this policy and take necessary measures to inspect the products upon delivery to ensure their satisfaction.
